Vacancy for Bakers Hand: * Immediate start * Pantry d’Or Bakery in Rotorua requires person with proven baking experience to join our team. We are looking for a person who has worked in a smaller bakery environment for at least 2-3 years with experience in making sweet treats and breads and pastry. Our business is growing and we urgently need a bakers hand who is passionate about baking. This role involves evening shifts that begin at various times from 1am-5am. Our long established locally owned business makes everything from scratch to an exceptionally high standard. We have a small committed team of 10 staff who love baking and we need to find a person with passion, commitment, drive and experience who will work alongside this team. The role involves the production of pies, cakes, breads and various other sweets. It also involves the making of our fresh sandwiches, pie fillings with some general daily cleaning. The days of work are Tuesday- Saturday 30-38 hours per week. The remuneration rate is according to experience and above the basic minimum wage. You will need to be physically fit for this role as it can involve heavy lifting and long shifts. We also require the successful applicant to be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, as the bakery is very busy with retail and out catering business and we always strive to keep our customers happy. Our business is an excellent place to further knowledge and experience. If you possess the skill factor we are looking for and can start work straight away then this could be your opportunity to make a great change. A positive change that will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside some skilled hard working bakers. All applicants MUST possess a great understanding and comprehension of the written and spoken English language. They must also have a current NZ drivers licence, preferably a vehicle and most definitely a documented working visa.
